You’ve probably heard by now, after many many years of incredible events The Maze is closing for good at the end of June… Before that happens we just had to fit in one more night of techno!
BECAUSE WE LOVE YOU ALL THIS FINAL EVENT WILL BE FREEEEEEEEE ♥
We’ve selected a lineup of local heroes who’ve supported the Notts techno scene in one way or another over the years!
PURE FILTH CREW
From their early ventures in the late 90s with the Dagobah soundsystem, through to the countless bangin parties at the legendary Bluprint club until its closure in 2009, Pure Filth have been instrumental in making the Notts techno scene what it is today. They’re coming back for a special b2b nostalgia set to help close the Maze chapter of our story
Taking over the mantle from Filth, Matt spearheaded the first regular techno night after Bluprint shut – TSA303! Alongside the crew at Sheffield City Tekno, their events in 2011/12 helped cement The Maze as the premier venue in Notts over the last decade for underground electronic music. Expect only the best in cutting edge acid techno bangers!
Representing the new breed of local techno heroes, we are proud to welcome the head honcho of AXIS – who have so far put on 2 brilliant events at the Irish Centre and are set to continue to provide Nottingham with regular techno long after The Maze closes!
Formerly heading up the Notts Collective, who brought multi-genre events and a weekly internet radio show to the masses between 2010-2013, Luke has been a long time purveyor of the darker, industrial side of techno. He has somehow never made it on to a ONIN lineup, so we are super excited to have him bring his boomy distortion to this final Maze party
This man can claim a history in techno almost as long as the Filth Crew, being a former resident of the huge Antiworld parties in London that ran from 1999-2009. Now running the SEND Project, a local arts and music charity helping disadvantaged youths in Sneinton, he has even more graciously provided the rig for free for this event! He has a bag of techno vinyl bigger than your bedroom, so expect just about anything!
Founder of ONIN and resident of many a Nottingham rave event over the last 16 years, it’s gonna be emotional when he closes the door on techno at The Maze with the final set. Trust us, you’ll want to stay til the very end!
Resident at ONIN since the beginning, Paul has made the opening set his own with his selection of tech-house and progressive techno, including his own productions!
To be announced just before the event, we have had many amazing entries so far and there’s still time to claim the final DJ slot at this last ever Maze rave…closing date Weds 29th May!!
Sat 1st June
FREE ENTRY ALL NIGHT!!
