House Vs Home are extremely excited to welcome Benjamin Lazar Davis to The Maze

BLD plays bass in Okkervil River (our favourite band in the world, ever), released an incredible album with Joan as Policewoman (Let it Be You, in 2016) and his band Cuddle Magic have been together since 2006. Earlier this year he released a solo album – the fantastic Nothing Matters – and now we have the honour of having him play these songs live!

But as well as BLD we have the pleasure of hosting Radiant Heart for the first time. These four play heartbreaking lo-fi pop melodies which are reminiscent of the Low Christmas album or Sufjan Stevens at his best (my words) and have been delighting local crowds over the last few months. We are very pleased to have them on the line-up, and you should check out their debut album Goodbye First Love on Bandcamp or Spotify NOW!

And completing the bill, vaingloriously, we have your humble narrator… me. This will likely be the last Alex and the Christopher Hale Band show of my 20s, and I’ll be doing my best to kick things off with my patented mixture of obscure and obscene rock and roll attempts.

Tickets are available in advance for £7.70 from https://www.seetickets.com/event/benjamin-lazar-davis/the-maze-nottingham/1246867 or, on the door on the day, for £10.
