Hardcore punk titans UK SUBS are set to return to Nottingham in 2012- we’re very pleased to announce that they’ll be stopping off at Nottingham’s best music venue The Maze on Friday 29th June! Tickets are £10 here.
UK SUBS, LEFTOVER CRACK and CAPDOWN coming up!
Here at The Maze we’ve got a great year lined up for the punks of Nottingham, with legends of the scenes UK SUBS, LEFTOVER CRACK and motherf***in’ CAPDOWN coming up in the remainder of 2011!
UK SUBS, the punk legend on a hundred thousand leather jackets, continue their constant touring regime, playing to new generations of nations’ disaffected punk youth. They hit The Maze, Nottingham on FRIDAY 8th JULY, supported by the fabulous GIRLFIXER (in their first Nottingham gig with the new line-up) plus local favourites MOLOTOV. LEFTOVER CRACK, the “Crack Rock Steady” anarchist, crust punk and ska punk band that formed from the ashes of Choking Victim stop by on FRIDAY 26th AUGUST. Support is in the form of Dublin-based ska/punk CHEWING ON TINFOIL.
CAPDOWN, who need no introduction, split in 2007 but now return to the UK with no plan and no agenda – they’re here until they decide to stop, so make the most of it while you can! The Maze is extremely proud to play host to the legends on FRIDAY 28th OCTOBER, with support from RANDOM HAND and the awesome MOUTHWASH. Tickets are selling out fast, so get them here while you can!

Awesome upcoming shows… SUCIOPERRO, JAYA THE CAT & run,WALK!
We have some great bands visiting The Maze over the next month, including Scottish melodic alt rockers Sucioperro, ska reggae nutters Jaya the Cat and “spazz-drums-bass-indie-freakout kids” run,WALK!
Sucioperro play live on Friday 25th March courtesey of the lovely people at Audacious Face Music. Tickets are just £5 here, and support comes in the form of Kill Chaos, Talking Endlessly and Little Courage. Doors are at 7pm with a curfew of 10.30pm, so get down early!
Revolution Sounds present the energetic Jaya the Cat a few days later on Sunday 27th March, with support in the form of Nottingham’s own reggae/ska rudeboys Jimmy the Squirrel, and Broken Nose, Stuck in 2nd and Fantastic Insurance, a brand new Nottingham-based folk-punk band featuring members of Breadchasers, The Undercats, Shankland and Jimmy The Squirrel. Tickets are £7 here.
Spazzy indie upstarts run,WALK! drop by to batter your ear drums on Monday 11th April, with Nottingham newbies Kids and Prae Vita. Tickets available on the door.
