After years of helping Nottingham bands get gigs and put on shows and finding the best the UK (and the world) has to offer in up and coming musical talent, in 2010 we decided it was time to open a new part of our business here at the Maze. So we opened our very own studio with analogue and digital recording facilities to help bands record Demos, Eps or Albums!!!
Our studio is kitted out with top range recording equipment including Soundcraft ghost desk with parametric EQs and high quality preamps.
Our dedicated engineers and producers use ProTools software with a broad range of digital and analogue effects plugins. Other quality equipment includes a number of high quality condenser and dynamic microphones such as Shure, AKG, Sennheiser, High definition monitoring and recording to 24 bit audio
The studio is staffed by experienced engineers, producers and musicians (we also have access to a wide network of session musicians) who place an emphasis on comfort, flexibility and an open minded approach to recording to capture your sound whether it be live and raw or lush and layered.
The studio is a relaxed, spacious and versatile environment that can only result in a swift and satisfying production of whatever you require, be it a 15 piece orchestra or solo singer song writer hitting out tunes on just one guitar!!!
Live recordings can also be requested from the studio if you want a high quality mix of a live performance mixed from separate channels.
