Our first headliner is British cellist, jazz and gospel vocalist, Ayanna Witter-Johnson. Her beautiful music has taken her around the world, won awards, got so much love from Nottingham since WEYA, and is why she’s one of the UKs biggest independent stars.

His soulful voice and guitar arrangements have stunned Acoustickle audiences every time. Ben has a rich vocal and sweet stage presence that marries to a youthful lyricism, with bars like ‘I’m tired of faking these feels for you’ showing off his stregnth as an artist.

CHAI (pronounced Kai)
More heavenly and spicy than masala tea, Chai is a neo-soul vocalist, which means she sings her gorgeous jazz-soul voice over hip hop style beats, and does so without sounding like anyone else. Putting her poetry to music and exuding a natural artistry, she’s completely her own person.

Resident host at Acoustickle, Jahreal Jahrel is a spoken word artist, a rapper, and performance poet, absorbing audiences into stories and exciting energy in the crowd before each act.

A true vinyl enthusiast, Rick’s knowledge of music new to old, British to international is rarely matched. His selections range from soul, jazz, hip hop, broken beat, house, garage and dub to original sample records and independent music from around the world. He plays 100% records & turntables.
