Tankus the Henge is the London based, five wheeled, funk fuelled, open top, custom paint job, rock ‘n’ roll jalopy that comes careering round the corner on a tranquil summer’s day. Ruining the silence and disturbing the bats.

Having played over 1000 shows all over the world the Tankus the Henge live experience is something to behold. Combining wild showmanship and musical dexterity their sound incorporates rock, funk, blues, ska, roots and gypsy rhythms and their songs tell stories of wonder and woe.

Since the release of their first album in 2013 the band has toured extensively across Europe and also become a favourite on the festival circuit.

“Like The Clash from New Orleans” – Nikolaj Torp Larsen (The Specials)

“….a virtual carnival of sound that’s high on energy and deep on soul. With copious helpings of R&B blues, funk, disco, Django, a dose of Dexy’s, a drop of Ray Davies and a pinch of Madness emerging throughout the eleven tracks – it’s an exciting mélange of sound.” – Simon Wells (Guardian)

Hallouminati
The sonic recreation of Old Greek men sat around a table in a taverna whilst their annoying grandkids listen to Jungle music!

Over the last couple of years Hallouminati have been carefully blending their unique and high octane Gypsy/ Punk/ Ska/ Greek/ Ragga/Jazz Mash-up and sweating it out for all to hear. Mixing the gritty realms of skankin’ ragga punk with traditional Greek rembetiko vibes, they’re throwin’ deranged beats for a unforgettable live show.
