The Maze / Forest Tavern
257 Mansfield Road
The Maze is located on the A60 or Mansfield Road (by the Forest Road Junction). It is a short walk from both the city centre or suburbs such as Forest Fields, Sherwood, Carrington or St Anns.
There are many Nottingham City Transport buses that run very regularly until late at night that stop just down the road (2 minute walk).
NCT buses that stop by The Maze : 15, 16, 17, 56, 58,59, 68,69,70,71,72, 87,88, 89 and also the all night bus number 8.
Also several other buses pass The Maze and stop either down the road or at the Victoria Station Bus Depot (5 Minutes walk away) including Trent Barton’s 141, Rainbow 3, 3a, 3b, Pronto and Calverton Connection
On weekends many Black Cabs pass by The Maze at very regular intervals and it is easy to flag one down and get home. It is a no more than £4 by taxi to get to The Maze from the city centre and our staff are always happy to call you a taxi or give you a good cab firm number.
Local taxi companies include :
DG Cars (01159607607)
Trent Cars (01159505050)
Nottingham Cars (01159700700)
If you are catching the tram, The Maze is only a 5 minute walk from the High School tram stop.
Go up the hill slightly, turn right at The Vernon Arms, straight along Forest Road, turn right at Mansfield Road and we are on your right!
We sadly don’t have a car park at The Maze BUT there are free places to park not far away.
If your happy leaving your car on the road we suggest trying to park at the rear of the venue on North Sherwood Street (this is free after 5pm) or try along Mapperley Road (across the cross-roads).
If not then the Victoria Centre car park is a 2 minute drive (5 minute walk back up the hill) down Mansfield Road.
Our staff are always happy to put your skateboard, hang glider or pogo stick in a safe place until you leave at the end of the night. We take no responsibility for your injuries if you fall off it because you are drunk.
